Contemporary Cuban Art
Manuel Almagro Urrutia was born in Villa Clara, Cuba on December 19, 1931. He is a painter who graduated from the San Alejandro School of Art in 1958. He later graduated from the National School of Visual Design.
His art is a combination of Surrealism, Abstract, Urban Landscape and Portraits. He works out of his humble home in La Havana.
His work has been featured in exhibitions in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; Madrid, Spain and Washington DC and New York in the United States.
